CS630 Stereo/Surround Speaker
This excellent performer features a dual voice coil equipped version of the CS610 woofer and a pair of aluminium dome tweeters. This versatile speaker allows stereo sound in small spaces like bathrooms and hallways, and can also be used as surround effects speakers in home theatres. The tweeter array can be rotated after installation to get the best high frequency coverage, and like the CS650 there is a tweeter and woofer level control for final adjustment. Because there are two discrete channels, these can be wired as bipole, dipole, or even as surround plus surround rears in a 7.1 theatre!

The CS 500W Digital Subwoofer Amplifier featuring a built-in limiter circuit that filters the incoming information and keeps it from driving the subwoofer beyond safe operating parameters. CustomSound CSIR SUB can be placed in 3 distinct ways. It can be mounted on a narrow, low profile plinth and placed upright. It can also be set on its back allowing it to be tucked out of the way, behind or under furniture. It comes with a mounting bracket, enabling the subwoofer to be wall mounted to maximize floor space.

THE CS AIC 860 features many of PSB’s core technologies with design by Paul Barton the design of the CS AIC860 minimizes the amount of refraction common to many angled speakers which can often “give away” the position of the speaker. With the new PSB design , the listener experiences a wide and consistent sound field which seems to emanate from the chosen listening area rather than from the installation point. So with proper dispersion and tuning, true 3-dimensional lifelike imaging is attainable.

The premium 6.5” woofer of the AIC 860 utilizes a carbon-filled polypropylene cone, for both stiffness and light weight. This woofer includes trickle-down technology that PSB has developed for its flagship Imagine Series to get higher sensitivity, bass extension and lower harmonic distortion at high playback levels. High frequencies are capably handled by a 1” titanium tweeter with Wave Guide and indexed adjustment for precise adjustment of the tweeter’s acoustic axis. Also included are acoustic adjustments for the mid/woofer and tweeter level for additional tuning to the room or listener location.

For maximum visual appeal, the CS AIC 860 features frameless magnetic grilles with invisible scrims for a seamless visual appearance. Both round and square grilles are provided, adding design flexibility while simplifying inventory requirements. Installation is easy and predictable with the improved, simple, foolproof mounting system, using heavy duty doglegs. Cutting templates are included. Optional Pre-construction brackets and back cans are also available.

Like all PSB speakers, final voicing is performed by Founder and Chief Designer, Paul Barton, at Canada’s famed National Research Council.
